Sawtooth Builders Co., LLC started as a partnership between two friends who share a lifelong dedication to the trades and craftsmanship. We have been rapidly growing and adding to our team.

We believe in giving all of our customers the best possible outcome for their projects. We take a customer-first approach to ensure that deadlines and expectations are met. Whether we are working on a new home development or a custom remodel project for a neighbor, we believe that strong and clear communication helps create project results everyone is proud of.

Meet Our Team

Joe Nicosia - Lead Builder and Co-Owner

Joe has been a finish carpenter for over twenty years and grew up with tools in his hands. Whether helping his dad with concrete projects or building skateboard ramps, going into the trades was a natural fit for Joe. As his career has progressed, he’s worked in many areas of construction but mainly has focused on trim work and custom projects throughout Western New York. This has included projects in custom homes, commercial projects, and restoration. Joe’s combination of hard work and craftsmanship has allowed him to contribute to countless projects throughout the region.

Ian Weatherbee - General Manager and Co-Owner

Ian has always had an interest and connection with the trades. He grew up helping his Dad with general handyman services and has been involved in many aspects of carpentry and construction. Ian also has many years of experience in logistics and project planning which has contributed to him being our lead project manager. Ian loves being able to participate in all aspects of the business, from working with customers to working on site.

Jeff Ammon - Lead Estimator and Procurement Specialist

Jeff has been a business owner and construction manager for over 35 years. He brings an unmatched skillset when it comes to seeing a project and its details from A to Z. Although he manages a lot and is constantly on the phone, Jeff also loves building custom projects in our woodshop.

Les Carroll - Lead Project Manager

Les brings a wealth of experience and has done a little bit of everything when it comes to carpentry and construction. Les is often on-site guiding projects with his knowledge and skillset, while making sure customers are thrilled with their project.

Landon Carroll - Lead Carpenter

Landon is a skilled craftsman who serves as our lead carpenter. From roofing to tile work, Landon takes pride in his skillset and producing outstanding results for our customers. When he's not on the job, Landon loves being in the outdoors as well as participating in championship rabbit hunting with his dogs Tank and Teddy.
